Well...I tried to post last night however, for some reason it wasn't working...I'm sure I was doing something wrong....I hope all the moms, grandmoms, step-moms and anyone having something to do in helping raise children had a great mothers day....aren't I just so PC...but seriously I mean it....I had a great day. On Sat. I received a package from lovely daughter and hansome SIL....almost couldn't wait to open till Sunday...but I restrained myself from those adolescent ways. I received the cutest purese and some great un-mentionables my daughter knew I wanted. I love both...however, the purse is my fav...you see my daughter has fabulous taste...I want to have her great fashion sense when I grow up....I love it all...thanks J & N....also my wonderul son and DIL invited me over for a home cooked meal ala the chef and his able assistant...we had a great meal with a knock out dessert...with a touch of bubbly. SM (hubby) had to fly out of town so it was just me and my DIL's mom....her hubbin was out of town, too...so we were treated like royalty....and our granddog was very generous with her snuggles and kisses...she is the funniest and most affecionate dog...actually both of my granddogs act almost identical....but they both have different parents...hmmmm...

Well...not much to post...I wish I could figure out how to post pictures...I have a few great ones....but until I have someone walk me through the steps...I'll just have to keep making excuses for the fact...."I am royally techno challenged!"

First anniversary of my 49th year

Well...I know it's been a while...but I am so new at this blogging thing...that sadly I didn't really know how to re-blog on my own...my daughter told me..."just log on, Mom"...well...I didn't really know what she meant...but now by George I think I've got it! I know ...it's sad...but I wasn't born in the techinology generation...

Life is good...spring is coming...and my plants are starting to florish...I'll start posting pictures once my daughter shows me how...she'll be here next week w/her fab hubby to celebrate my "milestone" birthday...yes...it will be the 1st anniversary of the 49th year! SM (husband..stud muffin) is flying her/and hubby here...and my son and daughter in law are already living in the area...so hopefully we will all be able to celebrate in a big way...I can't wait to have everyone together again at the same time...the last time we were all together was at Christmas...so I'm stoked!

Living the Life

Well...I'm starting a blog just because this makes it easier to post on my children's blogs...I have had fun reading their happenings over the days when we can't see them...my daughter and her husband live in Colorado...and my son and his wife started their blog while living in Alaska last summer and in NY for the year prior to that. I am a mom first...but really look forward to being a grand mom..."Lolli" soon...but I know that ain't in the cards for a while...and I guess I'm ok with that...I'll just enjoy the grand dogs when I can....I have a fab...fab...fab....husband whom I just celebrated 30 years of wedded bliss with on Feb. 19...he is the best!! We have two babies at home Maggie who is almost 3 and her tiny little sister "Cookie" Monster who will turn two in March. They are best buds...and make us laugh most all the time...except when they want to go outside and play (we're getting old ya know) or when they are sniffing around inappropriate areas of our "lives"...yes...Cookie and Maggie are our dogs...Maggie a beautiful yellow lab...with luscious brown eyes...and Cookie...is a black & white Shitzu...my husband calls her something else...she's a little slow in the head if you know what I mean...but she's a real cutey and very affectionate...The thing with posting all of this...I'm going to hear about it from our kids...they will wonder WHY? I spoke more about the dogs than I did about them...well...I must save something for later...Enjoy the weekend folks...springs coming...I HOPE
