Thanks to all of you who have sent me well wishes...I appreciate all your thoughts, prayers and concerns. I did make it into the doc yesterday...and thankfully, I am on the mend...the bladder issue is hopefully cleared up...but he has referred me on to a urologists to check out some things...not anything to worry about...just something I need to do...and the headsinusthingy...is getting somewhat better...not feeling that "vertigo" movie replaying over and over again in my head...the doc changed the medications around a bit...and me thinks it is working...yes...my REAL doctor actually takes the time to listen...unlike the "doc in the box" I went to last week...I call it the doc in the box...mainly due to the fact it is almost a "drive thru" type of service... it's one of those Care Centers type offices...it's privately owned by a lady doc who is sweet as can be...but lacking a little in the brain department...yea! I know...kind of scary going to a doc who needs to follow Dorothy to The Land of Oz...to help her find a brain. Actually, she's not that bad for the day to day kind of things...but she is just so funny when she comes in to examine you...it's as if she has already decided what's wrong with you by reading your chart and symptoms long before she enters the room!! I think she must access that if head colds are going around...then we must ALL have them...I am thankful to be "on the mend"...because these next few days and weeks are going to be none stop...
Thanks again...for uplifting my spirits...I have enjoyed reading all your blogs and
seeing all of your wonderful Christmas decorations, trees, traditions, and foods...you guys all amaze me everyday, with your talents and humor!
Christmas Blessings...

Hope you're feeling better... I'm just checking in after being a little behind on my blogging.
I know what you mean by the doc in the box ...
Get well, and please take care of yourself.
Oh, I am so glad you checked out everything. I have missed you! I loved your phrase "doc-in-the-box" and will remember that!
So glad to hear you are mending. I know what you mean about "drive thru" docs..they make up their minds in the first minute!
We did post very similar stories about candy canes. It's a wonderful story.
Happy Holidays, DebraK
Teresa,
So glad you are on the mend and hopefully you'll be as good as new by Christmas. Doc in the box, too funny! Like that one. Hope you are having a good weekend!
"T", so glad that you followed through...I was worried you were like someone else I know (ahem) who thinks that everything will heal on it's on...Witchdoctor's are alright for the "runin" kind of ailment but for somethings you need an actual Doc! Good Girl! Lots of fluids now, chicken soup, oh and for that bladder thingy, a specialist at Walter Reed had me drinking Cranberry juice and Ginger ale (1/2 and 1/2)...not only is it great for the kidneys, it's delish! And FESTIVE!
hugs

Hi again! I wanted to say thanks for the comment you left for me after my elevator fiasco! I'm always glad to know that others have some quirks, too. I guess life would be boring without quirks...
I hope you're feeling better... I also wanted to say thanks for being willing to stick with me during one of my conniptions - and, with both arms in the air! That cracked me up!
Take care of yourself!
So glad you are getting better. If you have a moment and it does not hurt to laugh, please stop by my blog and read a funny and true Christmas story I posted.
Just checking in on you Sweetie...have you tried that Cranberry High Ball yet? You know, 1/2 Cranberry juice and 1/2 ginger ale? Hope you're feeling fit as a fiddle!
Hey "T"...gosh, I hate your still not feeling good! You've got to get well for Christmas! Take care girl!
